Landlords
The WHA’s Housing Choice Voucher Program is a fantastic opportunity for local landlords. You could link up with great tenants, earn a steady source of income, and make a difference in your community. Landlords Advantages
Advantages to becoming a Section 8 Landlord:

  • Guaranteed rent check paid monthly
  • Client will sign an initial 1 year lease. No need to advertise every few months for new tenants
  • We will insure that clients will obey regulations or they will lose their housing voucher
  • Landlords use their own lease
  • Our clients are to be treated like any other tenant; if they break their lease we encourage landlords to evict them from their unit. The Housing Authority will continue to pay our share of the rent while the process goes through the courts

To maintain its properties and offer its residents quality services, the WHA frequently contracts with local companies and organizations. We are presently soliciting bids for the following services:
